Even as a child I was fascinated by fabric, fiber and color.  I recall slipping down to the "company store" (I grew up in a coal mining camp), for a half yard of fabric to make doll clothes.  I learned to knit at ten and made clothes for my sister and myself, pajamas for my dad and dresses for my mother and grandmother.  My studies in Home Economics enhanced my sewing and knitting.  My skills were tested while raising four children! Recently, I was fortunate enough to own and operate a yarn shop for almost ten years with two wonderful friends.  Now that my nest is empty, I enjoy feathering it with projects I can share with you.  My wish is that you will find great pleasure in their colors and textures as well as a usefulness to serve you for many years.
