This was painted from a reference photo taken along the road while on a bike trip recently in Puglia, Italy--the heel of the boot.  These stone walls were everywhere and the poppies were some of the last of the season. There were tons of old olive trees along the routes--many of them hundreds of years old.

This was painted from a photo taken on a summer bike tour in Puglia, Italy.  The last poppies of the season were like eye candy for me--I had to stop and photograph every patch I saw! The region is known for its many olive trees, some of which are hundreds of years old.

This is a Limited Edition--there will only be 10 printed. You may choose from the sizes and materials offered.
